Re: How to Test Second Order/HCM in SmartPLS
In terms of "how to" with SmartPLS, I found a YouTube video from 2012. Is there anything more recent I can use as a guide? I found the literature and appreciate your response. Thanks.

How to Test Second Order/HCM in SmartPLS
My model is reflective, reflective. There's a "connecting" construct in the middle which is red, as it has no indicators. How is this type of model tested in SmartPLS? I can't seem to find a "how to." Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Article - What about 2 Segments or None?
I read the excellent article. After running my FIMIX analysis 10 times with 2 segments (60/40) I consistently have a Fit Indices Table with 1 column. More than 2 segments did not work/was not feasible. How is 1 column interpreted? I examined the Log Likelihood and Entropy, but what about the other m...

Re: Mediation
Thank you so much for posting these helpful resources. in the Zhao article they refer to "complementary" mediation instead of partial mediation. Would you use "partial" when writing an article at this point in time?

Re: Mediation - Partial Mediation
I read the question by nikolas7 and the response from jmbecker on mediation. I have been looking for the reference on the criteria for full and partial mediation not using the VAF or Sobel test. If Dr. Becker can provide it I would be most appreciative. Thanks.

Thank you. They actually were not significant. I appreciate your quick response. I now understand the effect better. D.

Quadratic Effect Version 3.2
I used the Quadratic effect to examine the effect of average dollars spent on a product to purchase intent. I'd like to see if there's a curve. The number in front of the "Quadratic Effect" circle is 0.019. The path from Avg. Dollars Spent to PI is -0.014. I'm in a quandary as to the inter...

Downloading Updates
We have a paid Academic License. Does this entitle us to download updates for SmartPLS as they come out or do we have to wait a year to download the new version?

Professional Version - Home + Work Computer & Pricing
From the info online it seems one cannot put SmartPLS Professional on Home + Uni computers for the price of 200 Euros. Can you please clarify? Also, for budgeting, approx. how long will the Professional licenses remain at 200 Euros for academics?

Bootstrapping - Indirect/Direct Effects Reports Consistency
My model consists of reflective measures. For the exogenous measure and one of the latent variables, the Total Effects report indicates acceptance of the null hypothesis at the 1% level, but the Path Coefficient report indicates Rejection. I thought there would be consistency with the 2 reports. Als...
