Perfect! Thank you, I found it and will just cite that then.

Hi Stephan, thanks for your reply! I am tending towards that answer as well, but do you perhaps have a reference for that? Because, in the linked article, the authors explicitly state that the correct number of freedom is n-1 and also use this consistently to report their results. That's what's conf...

Degrees of freedom in bootstrap: n-1 or samples -1

Dear all, which is the appropriate number for degrees of freedom when computing p values for t-statistics, e.g., in Excel? The number of bootstrap samples - 1 (e.g., 499, 999),as here and here , or the number of data points - 1 as posited in this article on p. 19 (formula) and, e.g. p.27 in the subs...

Moderation: full vs. reduced model

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the analyses of moderation effects with PLS that has previously been answered inconsistently here on the forum (as far as I could find). I would appreciate if anyone could clear this up, ideally with references to published articles. When testing for moder...

I am unsure about which numbers to compare. In the Liang et al. paper, I conclude from Figure E3 that what they actually used are the path coefficients (connecting the latent first-order variables to Method and Second order variables). However, using the repeated indicator (superblock) approach, th...

Thank you for your reply! However, I now have another question to which I couldn't find an answer on previous threads. It would be great if someone could shed light on this issue: Liang et al. state that to assess the extent of common method bias, "the squared values of the method factor loadin...

Hello,

I am also curious whether anyone has tried this approach, as I have tried to build a model and indeed the latent variables without indicators are a problem (PLS doesn't run).

Thanks!

Changing path coefficients in Fimix PLS

Hello everyone, as a new user of smartpls, I am confused by following phenomenon occuring in my analyses: When running the FIMIX algorithm several times for the same number of classes on the same model and data, the path coefficients change (sometimes drastically). More specifically, I get the same ...
