What if control variables are sig

Hi everyone,
In my model, I found all of my control variables significantly impact the endogenous variables. What I should do now? Should I include them as moderators in the model? or should I run multi-group analysis to compare the model for different levels of these variables?

Thanks!

Urgent help needed! testing hypotheses separately

Hi, I have recently received a revision and the reviewer is questioning smart pls. I need help in finding proper responses. He/she is asking to test my hypotheses separately without the existence of the other (i have two IVs (no connection between them) and one DV, and 1 moderator (moderating both d...

formative-formative second order

Hello all In my model, I have a formative second-order construct with formative first orders (formative-formative). I am just so confused on how to do the measurement model. should I test the discriminant validity for that using Fornell-lacker? should I check correlations between first orders? what ...

Re: URGENT: Discriminant validity of lower order constrcuts

This is my question too, can anyone help, please?
Can we ignore the high correlation (about 0.85) between two lower-level constructs (which form a second-order construct)?
hurdemirbilek: have you found any answer you can share please?
Thanks!

insignificant coefficient has a wrong sign

Hi, does anyone know if I should be worried about an insignificant coefficient that has a wrong sign? Should I explain why a wrong sign (not compatible with my hypothesis) has appeared? or since it is insignificant it does not matter?
Thanks!

measurement scale Help!!

Hi all, I want to test the moderation effect of a construct which has two types (e.g. advertisement post and I want to see whether ads with pic moderates the relationships or ads with video) I asked my respondents to rate from 1 to 7 (semantic differential scale) whether the ads of this specific pag...

Variable rated between 1 to 7

Hi all, Do you know how we should include a variable that has been rated by survey respondents (e.g. from 1 to 7) in SEM as a moderator? Will this be considered as categorical? The variable can represent two situations actually; low values, for example, represents situation 1 and high values show si...

HTMT Discriminant validity

Hello colleagues, In my model, I have three constructs that are very related to each other, so both the correlations are above 0.7 and also HTMT values are 0.9 for them! I do not know what I can do, loadings are ok though. I have removed some items, but still, the issue is there. The CI values for H...

Re: HTMT discriminant validity

Hello, Based on the discussion here and the paper introduced, in my data, two constructs have HTMT values equal to 0.94; but when I ran the complete bootstrap, the confidence intervals at 0.95 are lower than 1 (greatest 0.98); can I consider discriminant validity conditions have met? Thanks a lot fo...

Question- Discriminant validity-PLEASE help!

Hello, In my model, I have two independent variables, one moderator and one DV. The Fornell larcker test is ok, AVE is higher than correlations; however, I have high correlations between one IV and DV and also two DVs and one IV and moderator (higher than 0.7), also the items load on each other (hig...

More than one moderator- each on two relationships

Hello all, My research model has two moderators, each of them moderating two relationships. As I read posts, I need to test each moderator at a time, the question is should I test each on each relationship at a time or each moderator on both relationships? I think the second way (testing each modera...
