Differences between moderator and mga
I would be very grateful if someone could help me with an issue in PLS-SEM. I have conducted an MGA where I have found differences between group A and group B. I want to check if gender affects the results between group A and group B. I have done this in two different ways: 1: Use of moderator: Usin...

Re: MGA: Differences between age, in different groups
Thank you very much for your response 😊 My sample size is >4000 customers, so it should be adequate in terms of splitting. Is this a valid way to handle this research issue`? I split the dataset into 2 parts based on age (>40 vs <40). Then, I conducted MGA on group A and group B separately, based on...

MGA: Differences between age, in different groups
"I have a question and I hope someone can assist me. I have a dataset in which I compare two groups, A and B, using a multigroup analysis. So far, the results have been promising. However, I also want to evaluate differences in age within each group. To achieve this, I divided the original data...

Re: Sample size
Thank you so much for your reply.
I chose PLS sem because some of my variables was skewed, and consequently, the data was not normally distributed. Is this good enough reason to justify the use of PLS contra CB-SEM?
I appriciate any comments:)

Sample size
Dear all, I really want to apply PLS, but my sample size on the current study is approxomately 5000. I will do multigroup analysis, where the segments consist of 1700 respondents in each. Are there any other papers using PLS on such large sample? And are there any reasons for not using Smart pls in ...

MICOM
Dear all, I hope someone can help me:) I am comparing three different groups in smart pls, and have conducted a MICOM analysis. Regarding the analysis, I have two questions: 1. Step 1 and step 2 in the MICOM analysis is fulfilled, and step 3 is partly fulfilled. Does this result mean that I can run ...

Re: Bonferroni
Thanks for your reply, I really appriciate your comments. However, I might be a bit slow (I am very new to PLS), because I thougt that I should do a multigroup analysis as follows (if four categories): Compare group 1 with group 2 (p value should be <0,05 or >0,95 if there are significant difference...

Re: MICOM
Hi,
What do you mean with "Combine the groups and assess the whole sample"? For example, can we run multigroup analysis for one variable with four categories?
I am really looking forward to your reply:)
kind regards,
Maria

Bonferroni
Hello, I am about to do a multigroup analysis as the MICOM analysis confirmed that the data is appropriate for the analysis. However, I read about the Bonferroni correction in Advanced issues in partial least squares structural equation modeling. How do I deal with the Bonferroni correction when doi...
