Dear SamrtPLS community
hope you are all well and safe!
I was wondering whether you could help me finding the t values of the permutation test. I could not find those anywhere. I need those to compute achieved power of the test.
Thank you in advance!
Alex

Re: Significant increase in R^2 in 2 nested models through F-test
I have the same problem! Did you sort it out at the end?
I assume that we should consider the number of latent variables for the calculation but I am not sure either! Could not find any clear explanation on published papers!

Reporting single items measures in discriminant analysis for HTMT?
Hello, I have a doubt concerning whether I should report single items measures in the discriminant validity analysis. I know that for reliability and convergent validity that will not make sense as all the values of Crombach, Composite AVE will always be equal to 1. Also with respect to discriminant...

Dear Dr. Becker
thank you for your reply and your suggestion!
I will try to work on that!

Re: Q2 for Interaction Terms in Moderation Models
Dear Dr. Becker thank you for your reply! I already computed the Q2 of each interaction term by removing them one at the time as you suggested. However, as you said, when I remove the predictor I automatically remove also the interaction term. Somehow, could this provide incorrect results of the Q2 ...

Compute R2 for moderation models in excel for statistical significance
Hello, I am trying to compute Bias corrected bootstrapping intervals in excel to test for statistical significance of R2. However, before to do that I computed the R2 of the endogenous variable in excel. I am following the procedure suggested by Streukens & Leroi-Werelds (2016) and the formula p...

Q2 for Interaction Terms in Moderation Models
Hello Everyone, I am in the process of evaluating the effect size Q2 for a moderation model. I created the Interaction terms through the two-stages approach. In total I have two interaction terms on two different paths. Hair et al. 2017, suggest that to evaluate the predictive relevance of any exoge...

Procedure to analyse possible "Confounding variable" and spurious effects in SMARTPLS
Dear smartpls users, I am trying to analyse the relationship between two latent variables A--->B. However, in doing so, I am also trying to control for a possible confounding variable "C" and check for any spurious effects. In plain words I would like to strengthen the hypothesis of causal...

Processing Continuous and Categorical control variables.
Hello everyone, hope you all had a good start of the week! I have some doubts on how modelling control variables in Smartpls and processing the realtive data! I have been reading tons of posts on the topic still I cannot understand two things : 1) I have AGE which is treated as a continuous variable...

Additive Index Moderator treatment in SMARTPLS
Hello everyone, I have a variable which is measured by a simple additive index of correct answers to closed-ended questions (I.e. correct answers are coded as "1" and incorrect and don't knows are coded as "0". Right answers will then be added to give the final score to each resp...

Multiple Moderators and Control variables
Hello everyone, I am running a quite simple model with two exogenous variables (A and B) pointing both at two endogenous variables (C and D). A--->C A--->D B--->C B--->D However, I have three moderators all reflective and each of them is measured through several items on 7 points likert scale. They ...
