The VIF scores
I was trying to calculate the VIF scores and understand the rationale beneath it. Am using a reflective model so am only calculating VIF between latent variables. Now am used to VIF values per variable but PLS provides VIF values for each path. What is the formula thats being used? I tried using 1/1...

Calculations for t-test for R-square, F-square
I was conducting PLS-SEM analysis in SmartPLS and came across an interesting scenario For every R square and F square value, the software provides t-test values and corresponding p-values. Am assuming the R-square or F-square p-values are being obtained by comparing the two groups of constant only m...

Re: lower outer loadings
Basically it means that your construct (assuming its reflective model), does not explain even 16% of the variance in the indicators or vice-versa. Thus, your construct is not able to substantially explain the variance, which it would if outer loadings were > 0.7 (In that case r square would be just ...

P-values for R-square, F-square etc
Hello all I saw that in bootstrapping while viewing R-square, F-square results, I get p-values after bootstrapping (I do get that it is because t-tests are run with sub-samples). While generally it is asked to just see if R-square values are so and so, or F-square values are so and so (like 0.02, 0....
