SPSS Factor loadings and SmartPLS factor loadings
Hello, We are conducting research where we have combined items from several instruments and conducted factor analysis in SPSS. We then used the items connected to their respective factors as they loaded in SPSS. However, when we run the SmartPLS , the factor loadings (outer loadings) are different f...

Pretest and posttest modeling
Hello, I have a question about comparing a path model from pre-intervention to a post-intervention situation. The goal is to determine if there is a change in the variables over time. I think you could compare the estimates prior to the intervention and after the intervention to determine the change...

Principal Components vs PLS SEM
Hello, We ran a principal components factor analysis and identified components to then model using SmartPLS. However, the standarized factor loadings for the Smart PLS outerloadings on the latent traits are somewhat different than those standardized loadings for the Principal components analysis. Ca...

Path from dependent to independent
Hello,
I have a model that I am working on and would like to specify a path from a latent dependent variable back to a latent independent variable. Is there any work around in SmartPLS that would allow me to specify a path in this manner?
Thanks for your help,
Art
