discrepancy for cronbach alpha between smartpls and spss
Hi
I have a latent construct with tow manifest variables (reflective) highly correlated (.91). smartpls estimate the cronbach alpha to .55 while SPSS give .82. I d'on't understand why...could you help about this?
thanks
carole

repeated measurements with PLS-PM
HI I'm wondering if pls-pm allows for repeated measurement. for example, I have four period of measurements for two indicators (T1->T2->T3->T4). I suppose that the course of the first indictors would be predicted by the course of the second indicator. Further, how could I estimate the sample size re...

adding a covariate
Hi
I'm running a simple model with 3 LV (LV1 linked to LV3; LV2 being a mediator). I would like to control for age effect only on LV3, but I don't know how to proceed because i'm not convinced by a LV with one MV even i have read that it is possible..could someone help me?
thanks

f2 effect size
Hi
After running a plspm model with smartpls3, I get the f2 effect size. however, these effect sizes are those for the direct effect or do they include the indirect effect (total effect)?
thanks a lot

Re: composite reliability discrepancy
problem solved. there is a Rho-A and a composite index in smartpls. composite reliability and DG rho were similar between the two soft.

composite reliability discrepancy
Hello, I discover smartpls 3 while I usually run PLS-PM with xlstat-PLSPM. I'm confused about the composite reliability which are differents for the same model in this two softwares. So, does smartpls use a particular composite reliability (rho-A) while in xlstat, it's the dillon-Goldstein Rho (DG r...
