Similar indicator weights

Dear all, I'm wondering why the indicator weights are very close to being the same in most cases. It has been the case for all SmartPLS projects I have done so far. They are not identical, but within close range of eachother. I'm currently working with a dataset with 9 LV's. One of the LV's have 10 ...

Thank you Professor Bido,

I'm sorry to hear that this is not implemented in SmartPLS, but that was what I expected to hear. Just wanted a clarification.

And it is not in any way possible to work around it by manipulating the data before import?

Thank you Dr. Jan-Michael Becker, But I'm not quite sure I can follow your method for weighting the cases. From what I can see and understand, your alteration to the data before import changes the values for each case, but it does not affect the weight of each case. Ex: Case Gender v1 v2 Weight v1_n...

Applying weights to individual cases

There has been talk about the issue/feature before but I wish to find out if any progress has been made during the time passed since the last post about the subject. When doing applied research and one wishes to weight the cases in the sample to reflect the distribution of the population - is this p...

Thank you very much Stephan.

Do you know were it is possible to read more about the use of the formative method and the test theory of this method?

I could not make it work with the formative method, but when we reversed the arrows (reflective method), then we got the values for AVE, Composite Reliability and Cronbach's Alpha.

No data for AVE, Composite Reliability or Cronbach's Alpha

Dear qualified users, 1) We have an output with 0,0000 values for all LV's concerning AVE, Composite Reliability and Cronbach's Alpha. We understand, that "Communality" in the PLS report output is actual Average Communality and therefore equal to AVE. We have values of "Communality in...
