Error terms

Hi I need to do power analysis using the technique mentioned in this paper. For that, I need error terms. I have reflective and formative variables in my research model. How can I find error terms for these variables(formative)? Aguirre-Urreta, M., & Rönkkö, M. (2015). Sample Size Determination ...

Power Analysis for PLS

My research model has 3 independent variables, 2 mediating and 1 dependent variable. Some of the constructs are formative. I did the analysis using a 160 sample size. Reviewers have asked me to do a power analysis using the method given in this paper. Aguirre-Urreta, M., & Rönkkö, M. (2015). Sam...

Re: Sample size calculation using G*power Analysis

There is another method to calculate power
Aguirre-Urreta, M., & Rönkkö, M. (2015). Sample size determination and statistical power analysis in PLS using R: an annotated tutorial. Communications of the Association for Information Systems, 36(1), 3.

Has anyone tried this?

indirect effects

There are 2 mediating variables in my model. I am not able to find an explanation for the indirect effects results. IV-> MediatingVariable1> DV has INSIGNIFICANT specific indirect effect (p-value 0.063) IV-> MediatingVariable2> DV has INSIGNIFICANT specific indirect effect (p-value 0.154) But the to...

Re: complimentary and competing mediation

There are 3 independent variables and 2 mediators variables.
How to find complimentary and competing mediation is little confusing for me. Can you please help?
Picture is attached for reference.

Low R square value

Hi
How can I explain low R square value? Is there any paper/book I can refer for explanation ?

Thank you

Total and Individual indirect effect

In my model, D, E,F (independent), mediating (B, C) and A (dependent). Total indirect effect from D to A is significant (p-0.018), but individual indirect effect from D>B>A is insignificant(p-0.069), and D>C>A is insignificant (p-0.154). How can I explain it? For E,F both total and individual indire...

Multiple mediation

Hi
Can antone guide to how to calculate indirect effect of each mediator in a multiple mediator model?
I downloaded the sheet given for calculation on the website, but still can’t understand how I can do that.

Re: The two-stage approach

Hi, My model of my research assembled with one formative exogenous variable and 2 moderators which point to a endogenous latent variables., It seems that I need to process two-stage approach to calculate under this circumstance. I learned how to process two-stage approach in SmartPLS 2, I like to k...
