Re: Help! Higher order construct model with mediation analysis?
Regarding your question 1: I personally have problems finding good arguments for reflective-reflective higher-order models in general, because the main issue here is that your have to argue why you have distinct sub-dimensions (lower-order components) of a reflective (and thus uni-dimensional) high...

Help! Higher order construct model with mediation analysis?
Dear all, I have a bit complicated model as below. Independent variable A, a mediator B, dependent variable C(so, A affects B and C, B affects C). A is a second-order construct. A has 3 first-order constructs. My question is 1. For A, there are some issues raised regarding the validity of the reflec...

Moderating effect - negative interaction and positive simple effects
Dear PLS SEM colleagues, I have a confusing result from my PLS analysis (in my view) To make it simple, - the model hypothesizes A influences B, A -> B. I have a moderator C. - I have run a path, A -> B. It is positive and significant (my hypothesis is supported) - An interaction term (e.g., A·C) on...

Re: [HELP!!!!!] PLS and IPA matrix
Dear Professor Ringle,
It is great to have a comment from my research guru! Actually, I gave up to have a reply to this post but you are in my side.
I really appreciate your comments. Will take a long breath and give my paper another go.
Best regards,
Olivia

[HELP!!!!!] PLS and IPA matrix
Dear colleagues, I have one very importance question for my work and also to this community. My paper submitted to a journal was rejected and I got a strong impression that the main reason of rejection is; I failed to convince the reviewer that PLS and IPA matrix can be mixed and useful. My model ha...

Re: Help me. Second order construct :(
If they are highly correlated, then it could be a reflective-reflective second-order constructs, but you should not model relationships between the lower-order constructs as they are then supposed to be measures of the same concept. This seems to be a problem that can only be argued on theoretical ...

Help me. Second order construct :(
Dear PLS experts! Please help me out. I have 5 measurement models. A,B,C (e.g. different types of IT service) affects D (a mediator, called a integration capability). and D affects E (firm performance). All of them are reflective. I have presented this model to a journal paper and the reviewer said ...

Mediating analysis - complicated!
Dear every one I have a lot of confusing thing. This is one of them :( Has anyone of you ever tried to use the method suggested by Preacher and Hayes (2008) in SmartPLS?? Preacher, K. J., & Hayes, A. F. (2008a). Asymptotic and resampling strategies for assessing and comparing indirect effects in...

Degree of freedom - help me please
Hi guys, your help will be highly appreciated! I have used two-stage test with smartpls for my model, which are measurement model and structural model analysis in my research paper. I recently got a comment from a reviewer saying I need to cite an article regarding the two stage SEM approach, which ...
