Presenting Results

Is there an agreed format in the way results should be presented? I am particularly interested in how to deal with the hypothesis: I was taught that you either accept or reject the Null Hypothesis, but many SEM papers tend to focus on the Alternative Hypothesis?

When using G*Power to calculate sample size, power and/or effect, what Test Family and Statistical Test should be selected?
