Thanks for your reply. I am not sure what test you are refering to. What would be the best way to test for example a path coefficient of the validation model with the corresponding path coefficient of the hold-out model? Edit: I assume you are refering to the Smith-Satterthwaite test. Wouldn't a non...

Test for comparison of model parameters

After splitting data into a validation and a hold-out set, I would like to test model parameters for potential differences. What test would be most suited for this?

Thanks for all answers.

Can someone point me to a literature that explains: How the t-values are calculated when bootstrapping is performed?

Comparing path coefficients across models

Hello everybody, due to the research design, I calculated two pls models. In one model, an endogenous latent variable (single item measured "number of purchases") included all purchases. The second model only included the number of purchases linked to a certain criteria. I would now like t...

PLS & Path Analysis - Model fit & T-Values

As I am new to employing SmartPLS for PathAnalysis. I have a follow-up question on the thread here. I have created my path model and calculated the model by applying the PLS algorithm. As i understood so far I have to employ bootstrapping to get any t values on the e. g. path coefficients. My settin...
