Hello, I can share with you my approach (you should know that this is a debatable issue in PLS). Also, please refer to Hair et al. (2013): Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling: Rigorous Applications, Better Results and Higher Acceptance. In PLS, the control variables are linked directl...

Hi, The best way is to copy and past your bootstrapping results into an excel sheet. Than add a new column for the p values. In this column ask excel to compute the following formula: TDSIT. Define the empirical T as your data source, choose 2 tails and the degrees of freedom are the number of boots...

Hello, I would suggest you to read the Hair et al. 2014 book, there is an excellent chapter on how to conduct the moderation analysis. In your case, I would suggest that you will also install and run the following PLS extension: http://pls-institute.wistia.com/projects/vj33f2jh55. It enables you to ...

Moderation effect - the orthogonalizing approach
Hi,
In Henseler and Chin (2010) paper, they recommended to use the orthogonalizing approach among the four approaches that they reviewed. However, I couldn't find instructions for implementing this approach in SmartPLS software.
Can someone explain me how to run it in this software?
Best,
Izak

Control Varibales
Hello, I am using 5 control variables in my model. They are linked directly to all endogenous variables in the model. How should I analyse and report their impact? 1. should I report first on the R2 value of the endogenous variable and then connect the predictors and see if the R2 have increased? 2....

second order construct: repeated indicators approach
Thanks for your prompt reply!, Hair (PLS premier book) used the mv of the second order to compute the AVE of the second order construct (Hair et al. 2013, p. 237). but, in your professional opinion, and in the same vein as Wetzles et al. (2009), I shall use the path coefficients between the first or...

second order construct: repeated indicators approach
However, Wetzles uses the loadings of the first order construct to assess the validity of the second order. If I understand correctly they compute the AVE of the second order based on the first order constructs' loading and not by using the loadings of the repeated indicators. What do you recommend?

Hello, I have a second order construct, which consists of 3 LOC with a reflective-reflective design: 1. The AVE of each of the LOCs is >0.5 2. The loadings of the indicators of each of the LOCs are >0.7 3. The loadings of the repeated indicators (the reflective indicators of the HOC) are >.7 except ...

convergent validity
Hello,
I am using a reflective-formative design. Withe regards to the formative indicators, How can I conduct a convergent validity if I didn't include a single item/global item measure in the survey?

Hi,
I have assigned the indicators to the LOCs, However I cannot understand how to do it for the HOCs,
Please send me a step by step guidelines:)
